Amanda Kressler Project 1


BRANDING

Kress products include furniture & accessories. This particular table is for function but also aesthetics. The products are made for the average person but designed to look high class. The core product values include form, function, and finesse(smooth look-not bold, blends in) fit (fit the personality of customer or needs/wants of customer), and the core company values include function, smooth, blend in, seems like it came in set with rest of furniture, versatile-fit into any room or look. The products have a fun twist to the pieces, an unexpected factor that make them stand apart from others like it.

The mission of our company is to produce furniture that is affordable and aesthetically pleasing in any situation. We specialize in simple furniture to spice up the everyday household, which allows the average person to have a modern high class look at low costs. Our target market is the average middle class person. Age:20-50. Usually people who are broadminded and creative. Those who are interested in art and are looking to spice up their home décor. Our tagline is "Afford the highlife." It tells the viewers that the product the buy will be cheap but have a classy look and feel.

A character to describe our company is Sharron. She is a woman in her early thirties who has a normal 9-5 job that keeps her in the middle class range for money. She has not yet married or settled with children, and still keeps close contact with friends from college. She enjoys hosting people at her house and wants to impress them in a subtle and affordable way. While hosting, things can get messy at times, so it is nice for her furniture to be both functional but still durable and easy to clean. Sharron aims to look sophisticated on a tight budget. Sharron’s personality fits into the target market very well. She would be considered on the younger side but also close to the most popular age for the target audience. Her characteristics that stand out are her wanting to have respect (class) but at a low cost. Her hobby of hosting friends fits in perfectly as the products are meant to be functional and durable.

Kress products are meant to bring sophistication and class to the common household. The forms of the products are emphasized to be sleek and versatile. The products are functional and durable, ready for anything thrown their way. Their rich look can blend into any style room. The best thing about Kress products is that everyone can afford the highlife.
