For the layout of my process board I have the first board showing the concept and process of the table I made. In the second board I have the context of where the table would fit into the living environment. In the concept board I demonstrate the movable parts to the table ; tray and and glass piece as well as the concept sketches. The context board shows the table in a living room and bedroom environment. The context board also shows the table in orthographic views. Along the way of making my composition I also came up with a possible logo for my brand COLAS. Using illustrator techniques I came down to the logo shown in the boards.
As established before COLAS is about line and harmony when it comes to design. This concept is carefully abstracted when relating to our products and innovations.
The inspiration I found for this project relied on compositions that were simple and clean. As I identified in my earlier project of line and harmony, I wanted to continue with this idea so that my composition would be successful. By using grids as taught in class and drawing my own ideas I came to several conclusions for my final layout. Getting used to some illustrator concepts and techniques was the next enduring task which allowed me to progress with this project.
