My inspiration was very collage-like so I did the same in the boards using drop shadows to bring both the images and the text off the background. I created the background graphic by blending a curve made with the pen tool. The colors I used in the background graphic and the text came from the images. My goal was to create boards that were simple and clearly expressed my process without the need for excessive explanation.
